To create a card visualization with small multiples, select the Card (new) icon in the visual gallery on the Create visual tab in the Visualizations panel. Then, select some data fields from the data model and add them to the data field pool. To categorize your cards using small multiples, choose a data field from the model and add it to the Small Multiples data pool.

This new feature offers extensive customization options, significantly improving data organization, visual clarity, and performance.

This month, Power BI is enriched with the addition of text segmentation, a tool that opens up new possibilities for both individual users and organizations.

To enable this feature, simply navigate to Options & settings > Options > Feature preview > Text slicer visual. Make sure it is selected and restart Power BI to activate it.

The Text Slicer allows users to enter specific text that acts as a filter, targeting a designated data field. By entering the desired text into the slicer input box, the slicer effectively limits the data set to display only the relevant information contained in the entered text. This feature is especially useful for managing large volumes of data, where fast and accurate filtering is essential for efficient data analysis and presentation.
