Post by sohanuzzaman56 »

Did you know that Indonesia is the 4th largest provider of outsourced labor in the world?

The recent Global Services Location Index examined 55 offshoring destinations. It is noteworthy that Indonesia is now in the number four position, swapping places with Brazil, which is now in fifth place. Indonesia’s potential to move up the rankings is tremendous.

The index uses 38 indicators grouped into three categories. The first is financial attractiveness, which accounts for 40 percent of the total score. The second is skills and resource availability, which accounts for 30 percent of the total score. The third category is the business environment, which accounts for 30 percent of the total score.

According to Kearney, Asia and Latin America list of portugal cell phone numbers performed particularly strongly in this year’s Index, with India, China and Malaysia claiming the top three spots. They were followed by Indonesia, Brazil and Vietnam in the top six, followed by the Philippines, Thailand, Chile and Colombia in tenth place.

While India leads in terms of skills and resources, Indonesia continues to show industrial growth and offers companies strong options for outsourcing services. According to BMI Industry Forecast, the Indonesian IT market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 13.6% from 2015 to 2019, reaching IDR29.0 trillion in 2019.

The positive outlook is based on the potential to catch up with growth quickly as Indonesia will benefit from developments at the global level, such as falling prices of mobile devices and cloud services. The MP3EI (Masterplan for Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development) makes ICT (information and communication technology) a key focus with national broadband connectivity to boost growth.

Plan has stipulated that Indonesia must prioritize internet connectivity with triple play capabilities. The government sees potential in the development of the ICT industry and highlights the local device manufacturing industry, the development-based service industry ecosystem, the content and application industry, and the research and innovation ecosystem as key agendas.
