Case 2: Becoming “the featured”

Post by Md5656se »

In this chapter, you'll learn what steps you can take to help your business gain more visibility in search engine results pages.

There are several types of text that can be used to create a featured snippet.

We are talking about lists (ordered and unordered), pieces of text (usually in the form of an answer), headings, bullet points, and tables.

Based on this, I could think of at least three ways to come up with my story about the dog's tail.

Lists
They often appear as featured snippets you may have seen, see this example in English.

Search for keywords with SEMrush Keyword Magic tool - Featured Snippet Example

Be careful though.

If you have a list that you want to appear in search results, remember to enter codes (OL for ordered lists or UL for unordered lists).

Controlling this point is basic but essential for content creators.

If you wanted to write about the possible positions when the dog wags its tail, this is what would appear in your lists:

UL for an unordered list

Horizontal tail: attention and alert.

Vertical tail: a warning.

It will look like this:

1.- Tail in horizontal position: sign of attention and alert.

2.- Tail in vertical position: warning sign.

OL for an ordered list

Horizontal tail: attention and alert.

Vertical tail: a warning.

And it will look like this:

1.- Tail in horizontal position: sign of attention and alert.2.- Tail in vertical position: philippines telephone number warning sign.

Headings

If you want Google to compile a list based on your headlines, make sure they’re super logical. Let’s say you want to rank higher for the question, “What does my dog say with his tail?” Here’s an example of what your headlines should look like:

(H2 Title) Horizontal tail: attention and alert.

Text

(H2 Title) Vertical queue: a warning.

(H2 Title) Tail tucked under the body: submission.

Text

(H2 Title) Vibrating tail: an active threat.

Text - Remember that your headers will not be treated as such unless you support them with text.

A heading always implies that there should be at least one sentence below that explains it in more detail.
