To get started, simply open the Power BI Mobile app, navigate to the item you want to register, select “Register to NFC” from the options menu, and follow the instructions to link it to an NFC tag. Once registered, any user with the Power BI Mobile app can access the item by tapping the tag with their device, even if the app isn’t open. If the user doesn’t have permissions, they’ll be redirected to the access request flow.
NFC tags are inexpensive, versatile, durable and reusable, making them a practical and reliable solution.
