Inventory Management Access Permissions

Bitrix24 Inventory Management allows you to manage your stock, control your warehouses, track sales, and monitor deliveries. Every item in your catalog can be tracked and traced from supplier to customer with real-time status updates.
The inventory management section contains important information that regular company employees cannot access. Set access permissions to specific sections and documents.

If you have enabled inventory management, you can set access permissions for their sections and provide access to inventory management documents. Determine which documents your employees will work with.
NOTE: If you have disabled inventory management, the access permission settings will be hidden.
Configure access permissions
Go to Inventory management – Settings – Access permissions.

There are three roles by default: Online store manager , Online store staff , and Warehouse clerk .

Roles
Online store manager – this role has more access permissions than the roles of online store staff and warehouse clerk. The employee can cancel processing, configure the product catalog, change prices, etc.
Online store staff – this role is for employees who work in the CRM with customers and orders .
Warehouse clerk – this role is designed for warehouse workers. These workers do not work with CRM and may not have access to other departments except Inventory management.
NOTE: If you have already set up an online store or CRM in your account, you may have the following roles: Administrator and Online Store Manager . These roles are the same, you can customize them or remove extras based on your tasks.
You can use the pre-configured roles, edit them, or add new ones.

NOTE: It is not possible to work with Inventory management without a product catalog . Make sure that employees have access permissions to view the catalog and other rights necessary to work with products.
What access permissions can be configured to work with inventory management?

Create, edit and delete repositories
Access permission allows you to create a repository and edit its parameters. An employee can create a repository while working with a document, as well as in a separate section.

View and select repositories
When filling out documents, receiving or writing off products, the employee will be able to see the amount of products in stock and select a warehouse.

Change the inventory object display form (add or delete fields)
The employee will be able to change, add and delete any field in the form and apply the changes to all employees.

An employee will be able to reserve products for a customer from the agreement form, as well as determine the period and other reservation parameters for everyone working with the warehouses.
