Quite the opposite: according to a study by the Foreign Service Institute spain phone number list the US Department of State, English and Spanish are quite closely related languages and therefore speakers of one should not find it very difficult to learn the other.
The difficulty of learning a language depends on several factors : how close it is to your native language or to other languages you master, how complex the language itself is, the number of hours per week you dedicate to learning it and, very importantly, the resources and motivation you have available.
These last factors are quite subjective, so it is not easy to draw up a detailed ranking. We do know that the Romance languages are the group of languages with the greatest mutual intelligibility, meaning that speakers of one can understand the speakers of another (especially in writing) without needing to have specific studies. If you have ever travelled to Portugal or Italy, you must have been able to get by quite well without knowing the language, right?
At the other end of the scale are the most difficult languages for Spaniards to learn. Of course, nothing is impossible, but to become fluent in speaking and writing any of the languages on this list you will have to apply yourself very hard:
