What you need to do to start selling on Ozon:
Register on the platform and upload documents.
Accept the offer.
Connect electronic document management, EDI.
Upload products.
Select a work scheme.
Step 1. Register on the platform and upload documents. To start working, the seller must enter a phone number and receive a confirmation code. After that, a registration window will open, in which you need to select the type of organization and add a TIN.

You can register on Ozon via Ozon ID. The seller enters a phone number and receives a confirmation code
To complete the registration, you need to specify information about the store and the seller: store name, product category, sales experience. Depending on the selected type of organization, the number of fields and the requested information may vary.

After registration, a questionnaire will open. You need to fill in information about the company and upload the necessary documents.
Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs must provide the company's TIN and select a taxation system depending on what goods you are going to sell, indicate the last name and first name of the general director, the legal name of the organization, KPP and OGRN.
Individual entrepreneurs - OGRNIP, the last name and first name of the individual entrepreneur and patronymic - if any.
If the TIN is filled in correctly, the system will automatically load all the necessary information. If an error occurs, it will need to be corrected and filled in manually.
Checking seller data on Ozon
A seller needs to go through four steps to start selling on the site
Once the documents are uploaded, you will need to specify your postal address and registration address, bank account and BIC.
Self-employed individuals will have to fill in all the fields manually: TIN, full name, addresses, account information.
After filling out the form, you need to send the data for verification. Ozon security specialists will check the information, and if everything is correct, the account will be activated. If there are errors, you need to correct them and send the form again.
Step 2. Accept the offer. After reviewing the contract, you need to accept the offer. This is an agreement between the seller and Ozon on the terms of cooperation.
Step 3. Connect electronic document management, EDI. It is needed by sellers who:
plan to place goods in Ozon warehouses. With the help of EDI, you will be able to arrange deliveries to the Ozon warehouse and receive monthly reports;
deliver goods to the Khorugvino Negabarit warehouse, distribution centers and dark stores;
sell jewelry and goods that are subject to labeling in the Honest Sign system;
sell products that are subject to certification in the Mercury system.
Ozon works with EDI "Sfera Courier" and "Kontur Diadoc".
Step 4. Upload products. This can be done in different ways:
manually in your personal account;
in the Ozon Seller application;
via an XLS template;
in online tables;
via the Synchrozon plugin for 1C;
via API.
Choose the upload method based on the number of products. If there are not many, you can quickly create cards through your personal account. If there are many products, it is more convenient to upload through an XLS template or an online table.
Now you can create product cards. Ozon has requirements for their design. For example, the description should not contain grammatical errors, and the image should not contain a logo or advertisement. Ozon checks each product for compliance with the requirements. If something is wrong, it informs the seller.
Step 5. Choose a work scheme. There are three of them: FBO, FBS and realFBS. We will tell you more about them below.
