The technology is amazing and there's a lot of potential that we can do well with. Moderator: You say I'm hopeless, but I have four children, so I must be hopeful. : Anyway I hope we can get it right. We developed it in 2009 but didn't release it. Even now it's in a very limited way because we're working on these problems. But you can't solve these problems alone you need to work with experts in various fields, civil society, governments and creators to really get it right. It's not a one-stop safety problem it's very complex so we need to do a lot of work.
Moderator: I'm going to ask you one last question and japan cell phone number then we'll take questions from the audience. optimistic about the technology but I want you to summarize. If you're a pessimist there are even companies saying if I don't stop it it will destroy humanity I think that's a bit exaggerated. And others think it will be the best thing anyway and we'll all be enjoying delicious Snickers on Mars. It feels like very different versions of the situation right now for Republicans and Democrats.
So I want you to tell me what you're most worried about and what you're most hopeful about and then we'll take questions from the audience. : First of all I don't think it's a predetermined outcome. I think we have a lot of autonomy in how we build and deploy this technology. In order to do it well we need to find a way to create shared responsibility. I think a lot of the problem is understanding the technology and making it very easy to understand. The problem is misunderstanding the technology and not understanding its capabilities and risks.
You got different versions
